STRIATA NATURAL GREETS STUDENTS AND FACULTY AT THE UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO BOULDER

Boulder, CO — The new Center for Academic Success and Engagement (CASE) opened this summer in the heart of CU Boulder’s main campus. The project, designed by Bora Architects of Portland, OR, is a 114,000 ft2 mixed-use space housing 4 university departments, including the Office of Admissions. Designed in the signature Tuscan Vernacular style of other CU buildings, it features native sandstone walls, red roof tiles, limestone trim, and black wrought-iron accents.
The mixed-use space includes conference rooms, a 250-seat auditorium, and two rooftop terraces with sweeping views of the Flatirons. It sits atop an existing parking garage.
Striata Natural from TorZo is featured throughout. Nearly 200 sheets adorn the walls, staircase, reception desk, and other common areas.
