TorZo in the Test Kitchen
Newark, NJ – The renovation at Newark Vocation High School is nearly complete, and exciting new facilities await students when they return. Students of the Culinary Arts & Hospitality Academies will enjoy a state-of-the-art test kitchen, a student-run restaurant, and a hospitality and tourism suite. The hotel and restaurant industry has been dealt a major blow from the pandemic, so here’s hoping hospitality makes a comeback by the time the first round of students graduate.
Designers at CTS Architects chose two earth tone TorZo materials for outfitting the lobby walls and columns. Pre-finished panels of Class A fire rated RayFleck Cocoa adorn the walls, set into a gray metal trim system. For the column wraps, warm and soft Tiikeri Uninfused adds a natural tone to the space, as well as acoustical dampening.
